My Seniors' Night '14

Every opportunity to dress up makes me a very happy girl. I enjoy it too much. Formal events are my fave since I get to dress up full-on. It's quite expensive though but I have my ways (like borrowing, renting, etc.) *harhar*. I sometimes attend events even for just the sake of dressing up. Haha! But I'm not saying that that is the case here. I actually enjoyed my college party more than I expected. I was also nominated as Queen of the Night because of this dress! Heheee.

Here's what I wore that night:

Forever 21 dress borrowed from a friend (thank you so much Fran!!)

Heels from Rajo! by Parisian (check my post here)

Dresslily hair extension (read my review post here)

Forever 21 glitter gold nail stickers
with Marianne
with Nadine (left) and Julie (right)

with Seph!
with Nina, my forever buddy!!
Hope you enjoyed my post as much as I enjoyed the party! :)

Review: Sammydress.com

SammyDress.com is a shopping site which offers latest fashion trends at lowest price and ships world wide. I ordered three products, two tops and one skirt. I got my notice from the Post Office about one month after I did my orders at the site (International packages were usually received and picked at the Post Office). I had to pay 50 php fee to the post office upon receiving the package. The photo below is the actual parcel when I received it. Apparels are nicely wrapped separately with plastic bag.

First Item:

(I actually love the print, but it faded out after washing; black print turns to gray after I washed it)

Second Item:

(actual material of the apparel is silk rather than chiffon)

Third Item:

Casual Style High-Waist Solid Color Cotton Blend Skirt For Women

(the skirt is surprisingly good quality! My favorite item among the three)

Quality (2/5)
Wearable and fashionable, but product quality is average. It looks good more on the photo. Details about the product are not that reliable. Items are usually 'one size' which means it fits to XS-M; which also means, too big but will fit to Extra Smalls, somehow will fit to Smalls, and right size to say is Medium.

Price (3/5)
Price for the product is affordable and reasonable than most of the other shopping sites I tried.

Shipping (2.5/5)
Average. It offer same processes like all other international online shopping sites I knew.

Summary (2.5/5)
Average, but worth a try!

Prestige Cruises Buffet - Forget the food, enjoy the scene

What it offers?

An eat-all-you-can dinner buffet while cruising at Manila Bay. Heavenly sunset, magnificent skyline and evening cruise. Mouth watering Filipino dishes. Exclusive and sumptuous atmosphere with friendly and welcoming cruise ship crew.

Our Experience.

We booked our buffet dinner at 7 PM and we're instructed to arrive at the area earlier than the booked schedule for registration. So we went at the area around 6:30 PM. After the registration, they gave us number. We waited until the boat docked. After the first batch of customers left the boat, they let us in chronologically depending on the number we had. Then the choice of sitting depends on a first come first serve basis.

As you can see at the photo above, the ferry has top, upper, and lower deck. Top deck was not included from the voucher we had (they said food there was different from the food they served below), so the only choice we had were the upper and lower deck. Food was served at the lower deck. Restrooms are also found at lower deck. But the view, ambiance, and tables are much more pleasing on the upper deck (on my opinion though).

We had our table at the side and our view from here is spectacular. We really enjoyed the feeling of cruising at the bay!

However, the food was truly disappointing. It is not that bad 'bad', rather it tastes ordinary; far from what they claim 'mouth-watering-dishes'. Plus, I didn't feel the 'eat-all-you-can'. The food was limited! When we finished our first plate and attempted to go down to have another round, most of the dishes are already empty. Rice, pansit, lumpia are the only dishes left.

My Judgement.

The thing I enjoyed most was the scenery and the experience of riding a ferry while having dinner. But yes, like all the other reviews, the food is not pleasing. So if you want to enjoy your stay, ignore the food. Just enjoy the company whom you're eating with.
