Tagaytay Bliss

Tagaytay, Picnic Grove

I can't remember the last time I went to Tagaytay, Picnic Grove? But what I'm sure is, it has been for a long time. So much things have changed. It's hotter than I remember. Horses are now everywhere. Where ever you went Manongs will ask you the same question and it's inevitable "Horse back riding ma'am? Sakay kayo kabayo?" If I counted how many times I've been asked on my short stay, I might be on the line of 20's, haha. Though there is a place where you can specifically ride the horses, some ponies still do roam around (maybe it's part of their advertising? I don't know.) It's funny because on my first look I thought the man was only walking his big labrador dog, until I realize it was a little horse. A lot of stores popped up too which mainly sells souvenirs and pasalubongs. But one thing haven's changed, the Tagaytay's best dish: The Bulalo. Tagaytay still the best place to savor the hot tasty soup of Bulalo. I also visited their newest attraction which is the 'Tagaytay Zipline and Cable Car' which I heard has the same owner of the Zipline at Quezon City Memorial Circle (hehe, chika~) The rates of zipline on weekends or holiday is 300php per person for a 1 way ride and 400php if 2 way ride; while on weekdays it is 200php per person for a 1 way ride and 300php if 2 way ride. With free photo on all rides. A little pricey, but I think it's worth a try.

I know that it looks like a regular weekend getaway, but the truth why we really went to Tagaytay is because it is my father's big day! His biker buddies biked their way from Quezon City all through Tagaytay. We went here to meet them at their finish point.
My mighty father who's even in 50's got the guts to bike all up to Tagaytay.

And finally for my outfit shot. I am wearing Landmark sheer polo top, Black shirt, Plains & Prints khaki shorts, Kiat Kiat Shop gold spiked necklace, and blue laced flats from Divisoria (that I only got for 150php!)
Belated Father's Day to all Fathers :)

Winter on June

I know that most of you are beginning their classes or getting ready for their first day, but on the contrary my vacation had just started! To celebrate that, we went out to MOA to chill off in the ice skating rink. It’s been a while since we had a get-together like this. I really miss my friends and it feels good to have these moments after the stressful work on school. I've been too busy lately on school that I can barely use the internet. As you can see, our recent blog posts are mostly about features or throwback posts. But don't worry! Now that my vacation has officially started I can go back blogging again.

Ice skating and all the gliding may look very simple. But, it wasn't easy as I thought when you're actual doing it. I was stuck standing for minutes regaining my balance on the ice. I don’t want to fall not only because that I'm wearing skirt that day, but I have my camera with me and I don't want to broke my cam! It was a relief because through out the day I didn't fall, though there are many times that I almost slipped, haha.

Minding Everyday: Outfit of the Day

Here are the some of my OOTD on Instagram during my summer class review. We usually wear uniform on our school, but this summer, our classes were held on a different location. So, we're compulsory to wear our civilian clothes. Having my uniform to wear every day for past 4 years on my school made me excited that we will be able to wear our casual clothes at class. But as days went by, I didn’t know that choosing what to wear for every day is quite tiring. So, I went on a solution that I have read one of my magazines.

For a hassle free morning, I organized and planned my outfit for 5 days. So every morning I won’t be thinking any more what to wear, but rather, I’ll just pick my outfit for the day which I previously sorted. It’s quite simple, but it really helped a lot.
