Lunch at Isdaan Calauan, Laguna

Isdaan is a floating restaurant surrounded by life-size statues and fish ponds. They serve authentic Filipino foods like kare-kare, inihaw, sinigang, and binagoongan. Besides that, they have the "Singing Cooks & Waiters" that serenades you while you're enjoying their delicious foods. There are also performers that present traditional Filipino dances and acrobats to entertain you while you eat. Isdaan reflects so much of Filipino culture. It is a one stop place to experience how Filipinos celebrate fiesta.

King-Kong was here!
Life-size animals, rawr!

"In far away remote place in China, there's a legend of a gifted young monk who could pinpoint an opening in the sky that leads to heaven. It was said that if you shout your wish out loud with your heart towards that opening, your wish will be granted."
There will be no loss if I try, and so I did! :D *cross-fingers* I hope my wish will be granted!

It's quite tiring walking around. It's such a huge park! Now it's time to eat!

Performers entertains while you wait for food.

They sang Tagalog music, a funny song that means about growing old with somebody. I wish I knew the song's title, It was really lovely!
They serve Sinigang slow cooked in bamboo. This is called Binacol.
Inihaw na hito or catfish
Yummy dessert! Leche flan with macapuno.

Pretty Koi! They will give you a sachet of fish-food so you can feed them. And once you pour the fish-food they will suddenly wobble and circle where the food dropped. The fish looks really excited, jumping ecstatically that I was afraid that they may board on the land, and I don't know if  I can bring them back in the water.

These funny statues that can fool you. It looks absolutely real when first seen.
Mr. and Ms. Obama was also on Isdaan!
Even the former Presidents of the Philippines were also here! haha.

The Isdaan also have Tacsiyapo. It is a way to express your anger. First you'll need to shout TACSIAPO! and then smash a ceramic on the wall. I aimed for "Magnanakaw ng Cellphone". But my throw wasn't high enough (maybe I wasn't really angry) so it landed on "President" hahaha.

These are just some of what you can experience on Isdaan. There's more to see!
Isdaan can be found at Brgy. Bangyas, Calauan, Laguna, Philippines
