Dresslily.com Review: Hair Extension and Beanie

Last November 25th, I was contacted for a product review by Dresslily.com for items worth $15. Upon visiting their website, I noticed that their products were very affordable and that I could get more than one item for $15. So I excitingly browsed over a hundred variety of products from their website and picked which I would like to review.

I picked the Long Wavy Hair Extension in Light Brown because I always wanted to try one and a Moustache Print Beanie because it looks so cute on the website and I just obsessed over beanies at that moment.

I sent my order and shipping details by December 2nd, received the tracking number for China Post by December 9th, received a notice from my local post office by Christmas time (but my notice was dated December 19), and was able to claim the parcel only by January 3rd because of the holidays.

Transaction & Shipment: Took 5 weeks before I could get my hands on the items. Would be too long for me if I actually paid for it and wanted my products asap. Local post office charged me Php50 (around $1.12) which annoyed me because I didn't wanna spend anything. I also think some foreign online stores can ship items directly to my door without charges from the post office.

Hair Extensions in Light Brown - $8.11

This is the photo of LIGHT BROWN in their website
This is the actual item
Color and texture without flash

Pros:
I love the texture of the hair. It's soft and shiny!
It's lightweight. Comfy to use.
The light brown color is okay and not golden-y (i don't like golden hair).
It looks extremely natural and not synthetic (but it is, if you read the description in the site).
I like the waves better than the website photo.
Comes with a hair net for safe keeping.

Cons:
The color is not accurate. Might be because of the monitor resolution but this could be a problem.
The waves are different from the website photo (could be a problem if the buyer wants exact).
The length is a bit short for me because they're wavier. I expected and wanted longer.
Hair volume is thin and there are strands falling off.

Clip-ons

Rate - 8/10
But overall, I love this hair extension. I would definitely be using it for casual or formal days. I must dye my hair closer to this though before I could actually use it. Will post Instagram photos for you to see it on me, soon!

Moustache Beanie - $6.36
Website photo
Actual item

Pros:
It's soft and comfy.
Good quality wool.
Matches the design in the website.

Cons:
Size is small compared to the average size of beanies. No size description mentioned in the website.
The moustache is not sewn entirely. It seems like there is cotton-like material patched in to fill the inside.

Rate - 6/10
I am kinda disappointed with the fitting and moustache quality. I will probably give this to my little sister instead because of the size and because she loves moustaches.

Dresslily Experience: Overall, my items arrived and I'm hoping I could review their clothing soon.

P.S. I will update this post for worn photos next time. In the meantime, follow me on Instagram for quicker update.

wow! Indeed a good find for $15. I've always wanted a curly/wavy hairstyle but afraid of having my hair permed, I think extension like that would be great. Nice Beanie too :)

@Angelique Misa Ya it is! Atleast if you wanted to go back to straight hair you could just remove the extensions. It's a good and cheaper alternative. :)

Asking questions are truly fastidious thing if you are not understanding something completely, except this piece of writing gives fastidious understanding yet.
