Sun-kissed Aqua

Summer on July! Why not? This is an extension of our summer. Philippines is experiencing rainy season on July, but that didn't stop us from going on the beach! Besides, beaches at this time isn't as jampacked as compared to March-May. It makes our vacay more peaceful and private. Unfortunately, I missed two days of school. But! Who cares? lol. I had so much fun in Bohol and I believe it's totally worth it. We stayed at the Bohol Bee Farm (Beach Resort & Restaurant) which offered us nothing but good service, full pack nature experience and healthy food indulgences.

As to my outfit, I wore a crop top and skirt over my bikini (which I also used here) instead of topping it with just a normal cover-up. I didn't expect I'd match with the pillow cases on my photos above though! Haha!

What d'you think of my look?

XO.

The Amazing Spiderman Movie Night

Yesterday, together with my family, we watched The Amazing Spider man. Finally! after weeks of waiting I was able to watch it. Even it is already on its third week in cinemas, The Amazing Spider man still builds a line!

(pictures from Google)
I can't say which one of Raimi's or Webb's version of the Spider man is better but here are the things I liked on Webb's version: Spoiler alert! [1] Peter is a science genius geek and he invented his spider web device which helps him jump building to building and uses it as a weapon to his enemies. Unlike in the Raimi's version, the web just instantly comes out from his wrist which where the spider had bit him. [2] There are more humor than the Raimi's version. Like on these scenes: When the man put a beer on his forehead, and Peter unconsciously beating up the guys on the train because he had super reflexes which he got from the spider bite; While waiting on the trap he made, he plays a game on his phone; At the school library on the middle of a fight with Dr. Connors, the old man wasn't aware that he was on a great danger and just walk out safely from the scene; When he told the car-napper "You found my weakness, it's small knifes!"  [3] Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy. (Sorry, I think I'm quite biased about here, because I'm a fan of Emma Stone.) On my opinion, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone's chemistry is much more romantic than Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst's love team. And there are more kilig-moments! than Raimi's version
To sum up, I really enjoyed the movie. I don't like spiders, but Spider man is an exception haha.

A year after my eighteenth

Today's exactly a year after my 18th birthday (debut). I can't help but notice how time flies so fast. I remember when I was just panicking and stressing over party planning and now, it was already a year after that. But it was great! All our hardwork paid off and I will be treasuring it forever. See my post about my debut last year here.

Turning nineteen today wasn't as extravagant as turning eighteen last year. Today was much simpler and normal. Like a normal day, actually. I went to school and went home earlier than usual. Only just a few at school knew that it was my birthday. I am even thinking of a word lesser than "few" haha. I hold no grudge or anything, though. I actually prefer to be invisible at school. I don't know why. I'm not the type who wants to be on the spotlight all the time.

I went to dinner with my family at King Bee last night. I didn't expect for a party or anything fancy as turning one more year towards the 20-zone isn't exactly what I was waiting for. Although we all know it's inevitable, I still want to cherish my time being a teenager. I never wanted to rush things (except for graduating BSA so I could take up a fashion course already! lol), you have your whole life to be a grown person but just a few years to be a kid. Why am I ranting right now? LOL!

Anyway! Since I am often busy at school and I cry every night just because I wasn't able to blog, if you have Instagram in iPhone or Android, follow me @secretcharmm for real-time updates!

Knitted white top from 168 | Genevieve Gozum detachable collar |  Genevieve Gozum tulle skirt | Mattewo periwinkle floral wedges
Last Sunday we were supposed to watch The Amazing Spiderman, but something came up so we ended up going home instead. To replace my despair of not watching it last Sunday (though we'll watch it naman next Sunday haha), I bought the latest Candy Mag whose cover is Emma Stone, yiee! I'm a big fan of Emma Stone, I've watched all of her movies and stalked her pictures in tumblr haha.
